If you read his remarks with a clear mind you see that he is admitting a few key things. DONBAS IS GONE (it actually has been gone for 8 years. And Russia just recently stepped in to protect it from this ongoing onslaught of Kiev attempts to re-annex it)
Number Two -- The western narrative on UKR conflict is the exact opposite of the truth. FACT IS Kiev was massing troops on border with Donbas, planning to enter and try retaking the region. AWARE OF THAT, Russia entered UKR to protect Donbas and secure the region militarily. THAT OBJECTIVE has been met, but UKR/NATO/US refuse to accept this fact and want to prolong hostilities so they can blame the economic collapse on UKR's inconvenient war.
West has no intention of accepting the reality on the ground and making peace. THEY are the aggressors, have been from the jump, and are USING UKR as a smokescreen to distract from the managed economic collapse of the western world.
